Cyclone Gridiron Club President Jay Chapman presented Iowa State head football coach Paul Rhoads with a check for $250,000 to be used for non-budgeted football program expenses, thanks to the generous members of the Cyclone Gridiron Club (CGC) and funds raised through CGC special events. To date, the CGC has raised more than $2.25 million for Cyclone football.
CGC is an official support group for Cyclone football recognized by the ISU athletics department; its mission is to contribute to the advancement of Cyclone football by raising funds and fostering a family atmosphere around the football program. The group is led by an all-volunteer board.
Membership is open to all Cyclone football fans, alumni, and friends at a variety of donation levels. Contributions are tax deductible and go directly to the ISU football program. Additional membership benefits include access to exclusive events and information, as well as discounted admission to CGC’s public events.
